P.S. Amazon’s labeling requirements
1. Label Type
- FNSKU (Fulfillment Network Stock Keeping Unit)* This is a unique identifier used by Amazon’s fulfillment network to identify products. Every product sold on Amazon requires an FNSKU.
2. Label Format
- Size* Labels typically need to be at least 1″x2″ to ensure the barcode and text are clear and readable. 【Rakumart provides 5*3cm and 7*4cm size label】
- Content* The label must include the FNSKU, product name, product condition (e.g., “new”), and a barcode.
3. Label Placement
- Labels must be affixed to the outer packaging of the product and should not cover important information, such as the product name or other barcodes.
- Ensure that the label is securely attached and not easily removable.
4. Label Printing
- Use a laser printer to print labels to ensure the barcode is clear and easily scannable.
- Avoid using inkjet printers, as inkjet-printed labels may blur.
5. Label Application
- If using Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), you can opt for the “Amazon to Label” service, where Amazon will label your products at the warehouse for a fee.
- If you choose to label the products yourself, ensure the labels meet Amazon’s requirements and are applied before shipping.
6. Additional Considerations
- Ensure each product has a unique FNSKU.
- If the product is a multipack or bundle, make sure the label indicates “set” or “multipack.”
